Looking for something exciting to do this summer?

With Career Camps, high school students can get hands-on experience and learn how science, history, and art are used every day!

Camps are offered at three of the nonprofit partner sites. Students have a variety of options from job shadowing a zookeeper to working with a full-time artist, plus can receive high school credit through Omaha Public Schools and the Papillion/La Vista school district. Students must apply to OCAC to be eligible for the program.

Here is what some students had to say about their Career Camp experience:

"The job shadowing experience was fantastic."
-Joslyn Art Museum Career Camp

"It was so fun, I want to do it next year!"
-Henry Doorly Zoo Career Camp

Interested? Here is a description of the camps, as well as the application and teacher evaluation form...just print, fill them out and return them to the OCAC office.
